SourceOECD Benefits
- Authorized users can access OECD information directly from
their desktops.
- Remote access is available through the My SourceOECD Access
system. My SourceOECD will also offers users the ability to
create their own bookmarks for frequently-used information and
get discounts through the OECD Online Bookshop, should they
want to purchase their own printed copy of publications.
- Users have access to publications up to six weeks sooner;
you no longer have to wait for publications to be delivered
by mail from Europe
- Unlimited access to all subscribed service means multiple,
simultaneous access for all users.
- Access is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Users continue to have access to a printed copy in their library.
- Faculty can include OECD materials in coursepaks without having
to apply for permission or pay extra fees
- Access is controlled by IP address. No passwords!
- Budgeting for OECD materials is simplified by having a single
annual subscription fee
- In-library service time spend with clients will be reduced
because of online access
- Online access will result in greater usage of OECD materials
- Users will be able to sign up for automatic email notification
when new titles in selected subjects appear.
- Libraries will be able to link from their own online catalogs
directly to SourceOECD

How to Subscribe to SourceOECD?
The OECD provides Terms and Conditions to simplify the access process and the rules surrounding it. In consideratin of payment of the relevant subscription fee and tacit agreement to comply with the terms, the following principle rights are granted:
- simultaneous access to - and use of - the subscribed material by "Authorized Users".
- availability of the subscribed materials via Not-For-Profit Organizations' internal networks
- commercial organizations network pricing and terms available upon request
- copyright permission to include articles and chapters in course packs and training materials
- electronic Inter-Library Loan between Not-For-Profit Organizations
- continued access to the subscribed material after termination

How is SourceOECD accessed
and used?
Anyone can browse SourceOECD free of charge. But access to the full-text content
is controlled by IP address or username/password login.
Libraries can link from their web sites
to the SourceOECD portal
page. In addition, libraries can link directly to the individual content areas and publications on the
SourceOECD site by using EasyLinks.
Title and Abstract information is also being provided
to Ebsco Online and OCLC. Users at subscribing
institutions will be able to access SourceOECD
materials through the ingenta portal page or through, for example,
Ebsco Online, if preferred.
The Advanced search option enables users to search
by title, ISBN/ISSN, abstract as well as within the full-text PDF files. Search criteria allow to customize searches by publication date, major content areas, periodical.
